There isn't an elegant way of doing it in Bootcamp. You would have to copy the file to a flash drive or memory card, restart then new OS and then open the file. Of course the files have to be compatible between both platforms. A more elegant solution is using Parallels or Fusion to run Windows then it's just matter of dragging and dropping between OSX and Windows.
My work notebook got infested with a nasty virus this week so I had to send it in to our IT group to clean it up 3000 miles away. Good thing I had Fusion and XP running on my iMac or I would have been shut down for several days. As I was working I was easily able to drag and drop Office files between the two OS's, I have MS Office for both Windows and OS X on my Mac so it was a snap. Boy I hate Windows though with all the troubles it brings along with it.

Mar 03, 2010 In order to use XP under Boot Camp you'll be creating a FAT32 partition anyhow (that's where XP goes.) When you boot MacOS, you'll see the partition on your desktop. Just drag files to. May 18, 2016 Boot Camp is a little annoying. Mac OS X and Windows both can see the files of each other but they cannot write to the other operating system's partition. Mac HFS + Partitions from.
